Keeping in mind the integration plan, a backward integrated plant (AIL) was started in 1987 under the professional guidance of Sh. Sandeep Jain – Director, who has wide experience in the industry.
Our modern steel melting shop consist of two induction furnaces having production capacity of 7 MT and 1 MT with two crucible each. We follow a set process of steel making to ensure quality finished products. It starts from segregation of scrap to be used according to the grade to be manufactured, which is melted under the supervision of Technical & experienced personnel. The molten metal is poured in Laddle Furnace having Argon purging system for cleaning of the steel. Vaccum De-gassing is also done as per customer requirement for making cleaner steel. After this ingots are casted. The ingots are stripped out from the mould after cooling upto the desired temperature. At every stage we have a stringent quality checks. The quality is controlled by highly trained personnel by means of continuous testing and process control. AIIFA awarded Dhatu Nayak Award in the year of 2003 for manufacturing alloy steel of very high quality from induction furnace.
